Our core mission -- the preservation of nature’s excellence through science, extends past providing efficacious and safe products that offer tangible health benefits. Because in order to sustain our mission far into the future, we must make solid contributions to protecting and supporting an environment where our mission remains possible.

This is why our core mission manifestly includes implementation of a multi-faceted sustainability program. It started with some small things. Such as, design of the facility was made with large consideration to energy efficiency, with particular regard to solar and wind use to minimize the need for climate and lighting controls.

Botanical waste products are recycled to provide energy for the manufacturing process, reducing outside energy use severalfold compared to conventional extraction facilities. Excess botanical waste products are also donated to local farmers and used as a substitute for synthetic fertilizers. A proprietary internal wastewater treatment facility cleans and recycles water, eliminating runoff to the local watershed.  Additional sustainability efforts are now in testing and implementation phases, as environmental responsibility and sustainability are a large part of our core mission.
